"Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing, to declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him." Psalm 92:13-15 (NKJV)

There is a powerful phrase that echoes through the pages of Scripture over 200 times: "The Lord was with him."

We see it in the life of Joseph while he was in a prison cell. We see it with Moses before the Red Sea. We see it with David in the heat of battle and with Joshua at the edge of the Promised Land. But here is the truly remarkable part: Other people noticed. The presence of God was not a private secret or a hidden feeling. It was a visible reality that caught people’s attention and changed the atmosphere around them.

When you are planted in the house of the Lord and truly flourishing, God’s presence in your life becomes just as undeniable. Your life is the primary evidence of God’s goodness, nearness, and power. When you carry peace while the world around you is in chaos, people start to wonder, "How?" When you maintain your integrity under intense pressure, they ask, "Why?" When you hold onto joy in the middle of hardship, they realize, "Something is different here."

Numbers 14:14 captures this beautifully…"They have heard that You, Lord, are among these people and that You, Lord, are seen face to face."

Your life is meant to be a bridge between the seen and the unseen. Ask yourself this question today: If someone followed me around for an entire week, would they conclude that the Lord is with me? Your planted life is proof that God is real. Live like it today.

This Sunday is Mother’s Day! At Building Church we will be celebrating all women. Whether you are a mother, a sister, a mentor, or a friend, we want to honor the incredible influence you have.

Invite a special woman in your life to join you at 9:00am or 10:45am. I will be sharing an encouraging message from God's word, and I cannot wait to celebrate with you and the incredible women in your life!

With love,

Pastor Ellen
