Starting Point
If you're looking to join our faith family and learn more about the mission and vision of Building Church, Starting Point is the place for you! Starting Point classes are designed to help you discover your God-given purpose and learn more about the vision and mission of Building Church. We offer Starting Point two ways to make it most convenient for you: there is an in-person option and an on-demand digital option!
An optional sign up is available below to enable a complimentary reminder email. Registration is not required though, please feel free to simply show up on your selected Sunday if you do not wish to receive an email reminder.
In-Person
Join us in-person at church from 9am-noon on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month! We can't wait to see you!
Online
Classes are available on-demand for you to take at your own pace at a time that works for you!
Life Groups
We aren't designed to do life alone!
Life Groups are a great way to build community and find people with common interests. We believe Life Groups help each of us to develop healthy friendships and grow spiritually.
Our groups meet regularly to study a topic or enjoy a particular activity. Each semester we offer a wide variety of options—from Bible studies, sports activities, to hangouts, and more—there's a group for you!
Baptisms
Water baptism is a way for believers to outwardly express what God has done in their hearts and lives in the presence of other believers. When you are baptized in water, you are identifying yourself with Jesus. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate this significant decision.

Serve
We are passionate about serving our communities and spreading the love of Jesus! We have various local outreach opportunities throughout the year along with weekly serve opportunities within the church. If you're looking to jump onto a team at BC, we can't wait to have you! Starting Point is the place to start to get plugged into a team!
Wednesday Night Prayer
We believe that prayer changes everything.
On Wednesday Nights from 6p-7p, we gather to worship together, join in prayer, seek the Lord's will for our lives and favor for our city.
Childcare is provided for ages 0-6th grade and food is provided for the kids.
No registration is required, simply join us for a night to seek the Lord together.
Growth Track
Growth Track is the next step after Starting Point.
Growth Track is a discipleship program designed to help you grow in your knowledge of the Bible and gain freedom from any obstacles to your spiritual growth. You’ll also discover how to make your devotion and prayer life more meaningful as you grow in Christ. The plan consists of Alpha, Financial Peace University, Live Free, Spiritual Disciplines, and Survey of Scripture.
The material in Growth Track is the solid foundation for a strong, healthy life.
Growth Track is offered every spring and fall Life Group semester and is a prerequisite to Leadership Track.
Leadership Track
Leadership Track is the next step after Growth Track.
Leadership Track is a series of courses for Christ followers who want to understand and practice principles of faith-based leadership. You’ll learn about the mission, vision, culture, and values of BC, while also exploring curated topics such as servant leadership, communication, growth mindset, and team building. Classes consist of interactive discussions, team building activities, and leadership lessons.
Missions
BC exists to tell everyone, everywhere about Jesus.
As a local church based out of North Alabama, we serve not only our own community, but communities around the world.
We do this through relational connections, giving, leadership development, and short-term trips.
Additionally, 10% of all our annual giving goes directly to support local and global missions.
One of the ways you can further your involvement in missions is by purchasing a coffee from our coffee bar.
A percentage of each sale from our coffee bar goes directly to furthering our local and global missions efforts.
RightNow Media
As a church we want to invest in you and your family.
We are making RightNow Media available to you as a free gift!
RightNow Media is an on-demand video service with Christian content. The library contains over twenty thousand videos for families, singles, students, kids, and life groups on a variety of topics.
This is a fantastic resource that you can use for your own spiritual development and that of your family.
