WHILE YOU ARE HERE
When you arrive at Building Church, you will be greeted by some of our volunteers as you make your way in. Our greeters are positioned throughout the lobby and they are available to help you with whatever you may need while you are with us. The welcome table under the Connection Tent is a great place to ask questions, find out more information about Building Church and learn what's going on in church life.
Children six weeks to four years old can be checked in to the Nursery to be cared for, ministered to and loved on by our nursery team. School age kids can be checked in to Building Kids for an awesome service designed just for them.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
Our weekend services encourage you to connect with God on a personal level as well as fellowship with others. Our service begins with praise and worship, which is a time for you to communicate with God and experience His presence in your life, and the teaching that follows is based on the Bible so that it can apply to your life in both a powerful and relevant way.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR KIDS?
We love to see your children enjoy coming to church and loving God! Building Kids has age-specific nursery and school-age classes for children 6 weeks through 5th grade. Everything we do in our children's ministry is focused on bringing children to a real and active relationship with God at an early age.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR TEENAGERS?
We are devoted to reaching young people and helping them build lives that are strong and thriving in every area. We believe that God wants the Church to be full of young people who love Him and are passionate about building His House. Both middle school- and high school-aged students join us in our main service, and we have special events and small groups for them outside of Sunday mornings.
HOW DO I GET CONNECTED?
Church is a place where we can experience the amazing gift of healthy, meaningful relationships and be a part of something significant as we serve the purposes of God's Kingdom together. Building Church is full of opportunities to get involved and people who want to get to know you, so we encourage you to take your first step in connecting with us, which can include any or all of the following:
FRESH START – A 3-week growth track that will help you get connected into church life, learn more about Building Church and meet other people, as well as grow in your walk with God.
SMALL GROUPS – Hang out and get to know people through groups that center around an activity (working out, cooking, and playing musical instruments are just a few examples!) or a specific topic, such as book studies or finances.
DREAM TEAM – Get to know our volunteers that make up the Dream Team as you help build and serve God's Kingdom together in all kinds of different ways.
OUTREACH – Join us when we go out into our city to spread Jesus' love through practical, intentional acts of kindness.
GLOBAL MISSIONS - Be part of God's plan to take the Gospel global.
Membership at Building Church is not about adding your name to a roster; it's about connecting with the people and the vision of the church. We invite you to join us and experience the difference that being a part of a church home can make in your life. If Building Church seems like the church for you, we encourage you to attend our Fresh Start classes and hear our vision for you, our city and world.
Fresh Start Step 2
This one-hour class is held in our Fresh Start Room every second Sunday of the month at 9:30 am. Pastor David covers:
Our Statements—the purpose of Building Church and our beliefs
Our Strategy—reaching the lost and helping members grow
Our Structure—how Building Church is organized and our view of church membership
The class ends with an opportunity to make your membership in the church official.
